here i go again
chasing rainbows after midnight.
why do colors seem to flicker
when the world around me's in slumber?
it feels so helpless! 
chores are done,
i should have curled up in bed.
but my mind is beset by a thought
though i tried to free it it's still fraught...
with thoughts of you! 
fond thoughts,
that linger on and on...
they brought forth smile on my lips
and send shivers from spine till my finger tips...
they make me feel afloat! 
i can't sleep
though i wrestle and juggle.
but one thing is just so bizarre -
because it's all phantasm - that's what you are!
guess i just had too much beer!
